A few years ago ECI was called to a new gated community that was being developed in a far western Chicago suburb. This was the fifth subdivision we performed work at for this company.
Here we were tasked with supplying equipment along with a turnkey installation consisting of automatic barrier gates, telephone access system, access readers, concrete mounting pads, dual goose neck pedestal mounts, vehicle detector loops and all electrical work.
The image above shows dual Magnetic-Access Pro automatic barrier gates that guard the access and egress lanes. The image below again shows dual barrier gates at a second access point.

These barrier gates are available from the manufacturer in widths spanning up to 20-foot lanes. Plug in modules offer a wide range of functions as well as expansion potential. Illuminated barrier arms, warning lights, heaters and battery backup are among the many available options.
The gate barrier is available in three standard colors in addition to the white shown – orange, light and dark grey. Custom optional colors are also available. A second model is available that comes equipped with a bottom skirt for the barrier arm.
