Cellgate 410 Advanced Telephone Entry System At Greif Packaging
Over the past two weeks, I have written about an ECI project at Greif Packaging in Alsip, Illinois. The equipment previously discussed included several HySecurity SlideSmart™ HD25 automatic sliding gate operators. Stacking photo-electric beams and edge sensors are entrapment devices to prevent injury to pedestrians and vehicle damage.
We also furnished and installed Tomar Strobeswitch™ Detectors, Infinity RFID (radio frequency identification) readers, vehicle detector loops and all the new electrical infrastructure needed to complete the installation.
Cellgate 410 Completed This Installation
The W410 offers a range of features that make it ideal for manufacturing environments. It is a powerful solution, particularly in northern Illinois where weather conditions and industrial demands require reliable and versatile security measures.
The system uses either the Verizon or AT&T LTE service and is shipped with SIM cards from both carriers. This eliminates the need for VoIP fees and provides reliable connectivity.
Up to nine telephone numbers in three tiers can be called. Its Voice Mail Intelligence (VMI) feature ignores calls that reach voicemail. Calls continue through the call tree and reduces the likelihood of stranded visitors. It streamlines the entry process for employees and authorized personnel. This ensures that authorized personnel can always be reached for access verification.
For manufacturing facilities with multiple access points such as Greif Packaging, the W410 offers excellent scalability. It can manage up to 5,000 local codes and an impressive 64,000 non-local codes. It can thus accommodate a large workforce as well as frequent visitors.
A camera can capture photos on entry transactions and on-demand and store them in the cloud for easy review. For more comprehensive surveillance, external camera options are available, including bullet and dome cameras to suit different monitoring needs.
The TrueCloud web portal and mobile app provide administrators with powerful management tools. Optional features allow for additional door control and even prop-open notifications. The system also allows integration with existing access control devices.
