I want to continue my narrative of the work we completed for Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, IL. I share the picture above from Lot 11. It’s part of the extensive WPS Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS) ECI installed on the campus in 2019.
It shows an entry lane (on the left) across from an exit lane with an adjacent guard booth. As you can see, there were guards present when this image was taken.
The entry lane has a typical parking ticket spitter terminal with intercom and access control reader, an automatic barrier gate and vehicle detector loops buried in the pavement.
The exit lane also has an automatic barrier gate and vehicle detector loops buried in the pavement. There is an exit terminal for validated tickets along with an intercom which is used when guards are not present.
Also included in the system elsewhere are pay on foot terminals, intercom, protective bollards, electrical hookups, etc. ECI did not install parts of the system.
Learn more about PARCS systems and their related components. Or call ECI at 847.949.0134. We can discuss your current or future needs as well as service and maintenance on your existing equipment.
