Linear HSLG Gate Operator Channahon PD
ECI was recently called to the Channahon Police Department to install a Linear HSLG sliding gate operator (large black box shown above mid-center). Dual high and low photoelectric beams and edge sensors were included as entrapment devices. These stop and reverse the gate if a person or object obstructs the beams or sensor guards to help prevent injury or damage to both personnel and vehicles.
The HSLG offers a comprehensive solution to meet the most demanding requirements for both commercial and industrial applications. It provides a blend of durability, reliability and advanced features.
Three models are available – 1/2, 3/4, or 1 HP motors to handle gates up to 55 feet long and weighing up to 1700 pounds. Its 24VDC control module allows for seamless integration with existing card readers, keypads or other security devices. A convenient on-board 3-button station allows for local control.
The HSLG is particularly suitable for northern Illinois locations and ensures year-round reliability. Its heavy-duty steel chassis and weather-resistant, powder-coated galvannealed steel cabinet can withstand harsh weather conditions. Mechanical features contribute to its reliability and ease of maintenance.
The operator can be configured for all voltages, both single and three-phase, making it adaptable to existing electrical infrastructure. Mounting options include post (as above) or optional pad. It is also capable of a dual master, slave gate set up. An integrated warning beeper is included to sound a warning during gate movement
Channahon is a village in Grundy and Will counties. It is about 50 miles southwest of Chicago, past Joliet. The fencing and gate were by others.
