ECI installed a new guard booth this year for Target’s Distribution Center on Chicago’s south side. Pictured above is the view as one enters the facility. Notice the large open glass views on all three sides. Bug screens are included on the sliding windows on both the access and egress side for when windows are left open to talk to drivers or provide a breeze.
The picture below shows the entry door that also has a glass panel. The image below that shows the general area before the guard booth was installed.
An air conditioning unit is included for when windows are kept closed during the hot and humid Chicago summers! The booths are fully insulated and include forced air electrical heating systems for Chicago’s cold, winter months.(Coming soon!)
As discussed previously, guard booths and shelters are available in a variety of sizes, styles and materials. They can be customized to meet the specific needs of any business or organization.
Guard booths are often used to control access to a property to help prevent unauthorized access to the property. They are also used to monitor the traffic entering and exiting a property. Guards often provide emergency assistance to employees or visitors with first-aid kits or fire extinguishers kept close in hand.
