Slide Gate Operator and Peripherals Indiana
ECI installed several Nice/HySecurity SlideSmart DC™ slide gate operators for an energy center in north central Indiana last year. Pictured above is the north gate slide gate locations including some peripherals.
Notice the dual access control readers pole mounted high and low (to accommodate both cars and trucks) between the yellow protective bollards on the far left. On the far right is the slide gate operator (see detail photo below).
Vehicle Detector Loops at Nice Slide Gate Indiana
The image to the left shows vehicle detector loops installed in the existing pavement. The saw cuts are evident along with the new sealing material we installed.
These slide gate operators are able to move a sliding gate up to 40 feet long and weighing up to 1,500 lb. They are easy to install and set up. They can also be retrofitted at existing sites.
Their simple design allows for easier troubleshooting lowering the cost of maintenance and repairs. Standard batteries are included for gate travel in case of power loss.

Extended backup batteries and solar power capability are available options. The operator can be connected to the Internet for accessing of event logs thereby enabling easy troubleshooting.
