Electrical Contractors, Inc. recently installed a high security sally port entry system at Chicago’s Midway International Airport. The system consisted of four slide gate operators.
Award to ECI for sally port
The sally port is used to prevent direct access onto a live runway at the airport. This sally port consisted of two gates to prevent immediate entry. A vehicle passes through the first gate and is then subject to security inspection by airport personnel before being allowed to proceed through the second gate.
