I wrote an article last October entitled “Videos Show Trucks Ramming Counter Terrorism Barriers“. It of course showed the destruction of trucks attempting to ram anti-terrorist barriers.
I found another interesting video on the Cars Insider YouTube channel. It also shows many examples of what happens when vehicles and barriers meet.
Many of the segments show trucks slamming into wedge barriers such as the ones ECI installs. Other clips show both cars and trucks driving over wedge barriers that are flat on the ground. Cabs of large trucks are destroyed and some separated from the rest of the vehicle.
As one truck drives into a barrier the subtitle reads: “They rotate out of the ground to stop authorize vehicles”. Please note that the wedge barrier must be extended into its position to effectively stop a heavy speeding vehicle.
