Slide Gate and Operator in Zion
Earlier this year ECI was called up to a City of Zion facility where we installed two Nice/HySecurity SlideSmart™ HD slide gate operators. This location houses emergency vehicles, snowplows, etc.
Pictured above is the west slide gate and post mounted slide gate operator. (There is an available option to alternatively mount the operators on concrete pads.) This model number is HD25. It has a one-half horsepower motor that can move gates up to 50 feet wide and weighing 2,500 pounds. The image below shows the operator up close.
The HD15F (F stands for fast) moves smaller slide gates weighing up to 1,500 pounds. While the HD30 can move gates weighing up to 3,000 pounds. Maximum length for these two gate operators is also 50 feet and each has a one horsepower motor. (The large motor is what makes the HD15 FAST!)
HySecurity HD25 Slide Gate Operator
Two eight-amp hour batteries can keep the gates moving up to 100 cycles in case of power failure. With two 50-amp hour batteries, this increases up to 600 cycles. Heater kits, a vehicle detector module and a relay expansion module are options, as are anti-entrapment devices. Five-year warranties are included with product registration.
